-Bryan

In 2000 Bryan formed the band Querida. Members of the band included James Gallegos, Derrick Aragon, Carl Atencio Jr., Nathan Martinez, Peter Archuleta, and Marty Valerio. Querida released three albums and had hits such as 'Vida Mia', 'Quiero Ya Besar', and a cover of the popular Al Hurricane classic 'Mi Saxophone'. After four years recording and performing with the band, Bryan decided to pursue a solo album. In April 2005, Bryan released his debut CD, Amar, which includes collaborations with several well known New Mexican artists. Bryan Olivas: Amar, quickly became a radio success with hits such as 'Chaparrita', 'Dos Corazones', 'Yo Quiero Ser', 'Amor Amor', 'Cuando La Vuelva Ver', and 'Explicar con Besos'. These songs found an audience on stations throughout New Mexico and Southern Colorado with over 7,000 copies sold. Bryan Olivas: Amar took home awards for Rising Start of the Year and Traditional Ranchera Song of the Year at the New Mexico Hispano Music Association award show. In addition he was nominated for producer, song, male vocalist, and album of the year. In April 2006 Bryan released his sophomore release "Sueno". The new CD spent the year in the top 10 best sellers of New Mexico sales. Sueno topped the sales of Bryan's debut CD. Songs such as 'Las Miradas', 'Cuando el Destino', 'Ojitos Color Cafe', 'La Minita de Oro', and 'Esename Olvidar' had heavy airplay on radio stations throughout New Mexico and Colorado. In August 2007 "Solo Tuyo" was released. The song 'Solo Tu' quickly gained heavy airplay and a large listening audience. "Solo Tuyo" was named CD of the Year by the NM Hispano Music Association. Bryan's third CD is currently in the Top 5 of NM Music sales. Bryan is honored and humbled by the support and encouragement he has been given. Bryan continues to support his releases by performing live with his 8-piece band.
